Students will build a Digital Presence Plan: a personal instructional guide, responsible-use checklist, sample of positive contributions, and three habits to practice.

Benny Williams is a former high school Marketing & Media Educator in Henry County Schools and Clayton County Schools in Georgia, with experience leading digital communications for multimillion-dollar businesses.

Benny Williams brings experience from both the classroom and the executive table to help students connect their creativity with practical communications skills.
As a former high school Marketing & Media Educator in Henry and Clayton County, Georgia, Benny understands the importance of making lessons relevant. His approach gives students an opportunity to work with ideas they care about, explore their strengths, and understand the purpose behind the work they create.
Beyond education, Benny has led marketing & communications for multimillion-dollar businesses, developed brand messaging and growth strategies, and trained more than 500 professionals. His experience spans creative development, campaign planning, marketing analytics, and team leadership bringing a practical business perspective to every lesson.
Through this course, students learn to think beyond content, a social post, or a catchy slogan. They learn to ask meaningful questions: Why does digital media matter? How do we ethically leverage its value? Who are we serving with our platform? And how will we know whether our efforts are working?
Benny’s goal is to help students leave with greater confidence in their online presence, clarity about how to communicate on social platforms & a complete positive digital footprint plan.
